Determinants and Consequences of Green Innovation

The project comprises two studies. The first examines how the 1986 Chernobyl disaster affected the orientation of innovation towards environmental technologies, using patent data and geographical variation in radioactive fallout. The second analyses how the introduction of electric scooters affects traffic accidents, both overall and for other modes of transport that scooters may replace.
