Labor Market Transformation and Crime

The project examines how labour market transformation affects crime. Using longitudinal individual data and quasi-experimental methods, the researchers follow groups affected by declining demand for labour in traditional occupations. The analysis investigates how changing employment opportunities resulting from globalisation and technological change affect the risk of offending over several decades.
