Should Special Classes Be Reintroduced?

The project examines how teaching in separate groups, compared with inclusion in mainstream classes, affects students with substantial academic difficulties. It focuses on students in the lower part of the ability distribution, excluding those with the most severe difficulties. The analysis investigates how different ways of organising teaching affect academic achievement and students’ educational situation.
