Paula Roth defended her dissertation, Essays on Inequality, Insolvency and Innovation, in May 2020, at the Department of Economics, Uppsala University. Between 2020 and 2022, she was a postdoctoral fellow at IFN, and until 2026, she was a researcher at the Swedish House of Finance. Since the fall of 2026, she has been a senior economist at the research division at Sveriges Riksbank and affiliated with IFN. Paula's research focuses on economic inequality, household finance, and income and wealth distribution.
